Update April 30, 2016

Plans are underway for a fantastic Spring Festival and Yard Sale on May 21!

  • New parishioners Laura Madison and Paul Nowick are planning some games for all to enjoy, a putting green and a bean bag toss. Plus there will be face painting by Emily Vinton, balloon animals by Corinne Dodge.
  • Bob Leonard and Dave Darrah will be cooking up a storm (or at least some burgers, dogs, and sausages!)
  • Ingrid Chapman is calling all talented bakers to contribute a tasty treat or two to the bake sale table!
  • Carolyn Timbie and Dusty Clampitt and friends will share their musical talent for all to enjoy, so bring a chair or a blanket and get ready for some fantastic bluegrass music outside on our lawn!
  • We still have room in the storage facility for more of your Yard Sale treasures, so keep them coming! The next drop off date is May 7 from 11 am to 2 pm.

A big thank you to all who have stepped up to offer their talents! There's plenty of room for more, so sign up in the vestibule and join us!

  • Bob Leonard will help you cart your large items to the storage facility for a 'ten talent' fee of $15 per trailer load.
  • Lyn Rockwell will help preserve all those all photos that are sitting in shoeboxes in your closet. She will scan and convert your photos to digital format for a 'ten talent' fee of $15/hour. Contact Lyn for an estimate!
  • Br. David Gerns has aquired a new batch of maple syrup. $15 per pint, reserve yours on the sign up sheet in the church vestibule.
  • Skip and Lois Gilman will sell cookie bouquets, delightfully arranged in mugs and baskets. A lovely gift idea too! Available at the baked goods table at the Festival.

Don't forget the LEGO contest for the kids! Get your kids and grandkids involved in this fun contest! Scroll down for flyer details below.

April 3, 2016

The Fundraising Committee is excited to invite you to join in the 2016 Ten Talents Challenge beginning on Sunday April 3. Last year's challenge raised nearly $7,000 between the Spring Festival & Yard Sale and individual parishioner's projects! We hope you will take time to pray and reflect on how you can use your gifts and talent in next three months to increase your seed money and help raise much needed funds for the work we do at St. Christopher's. The information packets that were handed out at church on Sunday April 3 are also available here.  Be sure to return you participation form as soon as possible. We are excited to begin this project again and we pray that you will join in! Continue to watch for details here and in the Signpost! The committee's contact information is found in the right hand column on this page. We are here to help you, please contact us with any ideas or questions!
